The key to Metafit is big movements and intensity. Metafit exercises aim to produce maximum muscle exertion in short intervals, to accelerate heart rate and increase speed and power.

 

INCREASE METABOLISM
Metafit can give you a day long metabolism boost. This is due to the fact that we consume more oxygen during intense activity than in slower, steady state exercise. This in itself can increase post exercise metabolism, and means that we continue to burn calories ...long after exercising.

 

BURN MORE FAT
We burn both fat and carbohydrates when we exercise, but the proportion varies according to the intensity of the exercise. Studies have shown that, over time, shorter high intensity workouts result in greater fat loss than steady state cardio sessions. This means you get a whole lot more bang for your buck when you sweat it out in a Metafit session, rather than spending twice as much time jogging on a treadmill at, say, 65-80%% of your maximum exertion.

A RIPPING GOOD TIME

Yep. This is the workout that keeps on giving. In pumpa we are ripping your muscles apart on a microscopic level. Your body then uses extra energy to repair these tears. In fact it takes 3 days for your muscles to recover from being torn. That is 3 days of extra energy being used.

Well, maybe not perfect, but pretty close to it. The more you stretch, the more flexable your body becomes, the more you can stretch. Improved flexability gives you freedom in your body like you have never felt before.

Stretching helps you to sleep! Practice this before bed each night, and you are setting your body up to sleep well by claming your central nervous system through slow deliberate moves.
